Manchester United are in a bidding war with Barcelona for Ajax utility Daley Blind.
The Daily Express says Spanish media sources claim that United are currently outbidding the Catalan giants - offering a sizeable £17m to land the versatile Dutchman.
Luis Enrique wants to bolster Barca's defensive options and is desperate to add Blind to his ranks - but refuses to meet Ajax's inflated valuation.
Ajax are aware of how lucrative Manchester United's offer is, and are keen to cash-in on their star before the memories of his outstanding World Cup fade.
